I've never really liked Van Halen very much but I couldn't explain why. Love Comes Walking In is a great song and I also like Right Now (even separating it from my necrophilic love for Crystal Pepsi). The debate has raged, Sammy Hagar or David Lee Roth? Roth was a splits-kicking pussy and Hagar is a pompous fatty. I guess I pick neither but for now at least I have a good reason why Hagar is not the answer: There is NOT only one way to rock, Andrew WK and Iron Maiden will both stomp that smirk off your face in completely different ways.
